Our Values

These are our guiding principles.

We believe that a good business is first built upon good values. These good values are the foundation of our client relationships.

Fairness/Value

Fairness goes both ways. Inch Law is a business, but we want to be fair in how we charge for our services and what we need to charge to do the task.

Competence

When we take your case, it is because we believe we can make a positive difference, and believe that the subject matter is within our realm of knowledge to do efficiently and effectively.

Mutual Respect

We want to value each other, our experiences, and our roles in this process.

Problem-Solving

We don’t want to just help you solve your legal problem. We want to work together to find the root of your problem and to help you solve both.

Relationships

Make no mistake, there is nothing more intimate than a lawyer/client relationship. In many instances, we will be dealing with events or experiences that changed the fabric of your life, possibly for the rest of your life. We care about this relationship.

Integrity

We do what we say and say what we do.

Honesty

We will be open and transparent with you. This means that sometimes we will give you answers you don’t want to hear but we feel that you need to.

Non-Shame

Something bad may have happened to you, or you may have done something bad. In either case, you are not a bad person, and Inch Law will do everything that it can to not treat you like one.

Ethics

We always meet or exceed the requirements for the Virginia State Bar and maintain client confidentiality.
